Claiming

🗺️
The Ultimate Guide to Lands & Nations

Welcome to the official protection, community, and empire manual! To secure your builds from griefers, our server uses a chunk-based system called Lands. As your town grows, you can divide your claims into individual plots, invite citizens, and band together with other towns to form powerful Nations.

📈
Server Limits & Upgrades

To keep our wilderness fair, everyone starts with standard default caps. However, you can expand your limits through Playtime Rewards AND by purchasing Upgrade Tickets at Spawn!

1. Default Starting Limits

  • Max Lands Owned: You can create and own 1 main Land.

  • Starting Chunks: You can claim up to 24 chunks total across your territory.

  • Max Town Members: You can invite up to 10 friends to live in your land.

  • Outposts (Land Parts): You can split your land into 2 separate sections on the map.

  • Sub-Areas: You can create up to 15 separate plots within your town.

  • Trusted Lands: You can be added/trusted into 8 lands owned by other players.

🕒 2. Free Playtime Rewards

The longer you play on the server, the more your caps naturally grow for free:

  • Every 2 hours of active playtime automatically increases your total chunk claim limit.

  • Every 12 hours increases the maximum allowable size of your town and lets you invite more members.

  • Every 24 hours lets you trust more lands and add more allies.

💰 3. Purchasable Upgrades (Spawn Shop)

Got extra cash burning a hole in your pocket? Visit the Spawn Shop to buy physical upgrade tickets:

  • Chunk Upgrade Ticket ($5,000): Permanently adds +1 chunk to your total claim limit.

  • Sub-Area Upgrade Ticket ($10,000): Permanently adds +5 sub-areas to your town, allowing for more houses and rental plots.

  • Trusted Upgrade Ticket ($15,000): Permanently increases the total amount of other players' lands you can be trusted in by +1.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow this step-by-step walkthrough to go from a lonely wanderer to the ruler of your own secure, thriving town.

Step 1: Establish Your First Base

When you first log into the server, you will automatically receive 1 Selection Tool and 1 Info Tool in your inventory to help you get started. Head out into the wilderness world (world) and find the perfect spot to settle down.

1.Create Your Town: Cost: $0.00

Stand in the middle of your chosen area and type:

/lands create <Name>

(Replace <Name> with your desired town name, between 5 and 24 characters long. It can include spaces, numbers, and color codes!)

Bonus: Because creation is free and includes a starter radius, this single command instantly claims a 3x3 grid (9 chunks total) centered directly on you completely for free!

2.Visualize Your Borders:

To make sure you don't accidentally build outside your protected area, type:

/lands view

This will light up the borders of your chunks with glowing particle lines. You can type it again to turn them off.

3.Expand and Bulk-Claim:Expanding Your Territory.

When your base outgrows your starter 9 chunks, it's time to claim more:

  1. Type /lands selection or hold your Selection Tool.

  2. Left-click one corner of your expanding area, and Right-click the opposite diagonal corner.

  3. Type /lands claim while holding the selection to protect it all instantly.

Step 2: Managing Your Citizens & Trust

Never give your friends full access to your town unless you trust them completely! Lands lets you give them specific "Roles" (like Visitor, Member, or Co-Owner) so they can only do what you allow.

  • To Invite a Player: Type /lands trust <PlayerName>

  • To Remove a Player: Type /lands untrust <PlayerName>

The Magic Control Panel

If you want to finely tune what your trusted players can do (like allowing them to open chests but not break blocks, or vice versa), just type:

/lands

This opens up an interactive graphical interface. Click on Roles, select the specific player or group, and left-click the icons to toggle permissions on or off instantly.

Step 3: Setting Up Sub-Areas (Plots & Rentals)

What if you want to build a shared town where players can own their own distinct houses, or even rent out rooms to random players for extra income? You use plots.

  1. Stand inside your claimed land and type: /lands selection

  2. Left-click one corner and right-click the opposite corner of the specific house or plot area.

  3. Type: /lands area create <AreaName>

  4. To Trust a Friend to a Plot Only: Type /lands area <AreaName> trust <PlayerName>. They can build inside that specific plot, but they are completely locked out of the rest of your base!

  5. To Rent It Out: You can place a standard Minecraft sign inside the area to put it up for public rent or sale. If a tenant fails to pay their taxes, they are automatically evicted.

Step 4: Rising to Power — Founding a Nation

Once your town has grown massive and established itself on the server, you can advance to the ultimate end-game phase: Nations. A Nation allows you to band multiple separate player towns together under one giant political banner for global trade, alliances, and community projects.

👑 1. Becoming a Capital

To found a nation, your main town must first hit Land Level 5. Once your town is prestigious enough, make sure you have $20,000 in your personal or land balance, and run:

/nations create <NationName>

(Your nation name can be 5 to 24 characters long and supports spaces, numbers, formatting, and custom color codes!)

🏷️ 2. Setting Your Nation Tag

Every nation must establish a short chat tag so players see your banner in global chat:

/nations tag <TAG>

  • Tags must be between 1 and 4 characters long.

  • Tags must be pure text only (no color codes, numbers, or bold formatting allowed).

🤝 3. Inviting Other Lands to Your Empire

As the leader of a nation, you can invite entirely separate player towns to join your empire!

  • To Invite a Town: /nations invite <LandName>

  • There is no distance limit between your capital and member towns—your allies can be on the completely opposite side of the world map and still join your empire!
